Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy covers the Mande platform: the getmande.com website and the app.getmande.com application. Mande is owned and operated by Artizen Media, Ventura County, California (artizenmedia.com), referred to below as “we” or “us.”
Who this policy applies to
Two groups of people interact with Mande:
- Businesses that subscribe to Mande to manage their own customer conversations, bookings, and follow-ups.
- Their customers, who chat with a business's website assistant, receive text messages from a business, or book an appointment through a Mande booking page. In that case the business is the sender of those messages, and Mande processes the information on the business's behalf.
Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, and business details provided when a business signs up.
- Conversation and booking information: messages exchanged through the chat widget, SMS, or email; contact details a person provides such as name and phone number; and appointment details.
- Usage information: standard technical logs needed to run and secure the service.
How we use information
To provide the service: delivering messages, booking appointments, sending reminders and follow-ups on the business's behalf, and keeping records of consent. We do not sell personal information. Lead and customer data belongs to the business it was shared with and is not shared across businesses.
Text messaging (SMS)
Mobile information and messaging consent. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of data sharing described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties or lead generators. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never sold, rented, or transferred.
Phone numbers collected for SMS consent are used only to send the messages the person agreed to receive. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any service. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, START to resume, and HELP for assistance. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.
Service providers
We use a small number of infrastructure providers to run the platform, such as our SMS carrier connectivity provider and Stripe for payments. They process data only as needed to provide their service to us, and the exclusion above for text messaging opt-in data and consent applies to every category of sharing described in this policy.
Data retention and your choices
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. To access, correct, or delete personal information, contact us and we will respond promptly. If your question concerns messages sent by a specific business, we may route the request to that business, since the data belongs to them.
