How is Mande different from a contact form?
Mande replaces the contact form with a conversation: the visitor leaves a name and number, gets an answer on the page, and books without a phone call.

What does Mande not do yet?
The honest list of what Mande does not do. If one of these is a dealbreaker, better to find out now.
Mande answers from content you give it. Crawl your website, upload PDFs or Word documents, or write question and answer pairs, and the widget answers from that material with citations, so you can see where an answer came from. When it should not answer, it hands the conversation to a person.
Every chat starts with a short form: name, mobile number and message, with consent text. The assistant then answers in the chat, or the conversation moves to SMS if you turn on text-back. Your team replies from the Mande dashboard, or from their own phones using the alert texts, and the whole thread stays on that person's record.
Web chat, SMS, email, Slack and Facebook Messenger, in one thread per person. Email is outbound only: Mande sends email but does not receive it. Instagram DM, WhatsApp and Google Business Profile messaging are not supported, and neither is MMS.
No. Calendar sync is not built. Booking runs on Mande's own calendar, which knows each person's hours, how long each service takes and the customer's time zone. If you need a two-way sync with an outside calendar today, Mande is not the right fit yet.
Yes, through Stripe. You can require a deposit or keep a card on file and charge a no-show fee, and the money is paid into a Stripe account in your business's name rather than passing through Mande.
No. Mande runs in the browser, and your team can reply to any conversation from a phone using the alert texts. A native mobile app does not exist.
